“The best thing to hold onto in life is each other” – Audrey Hepburn
Three weeks ago – on a golden and sunny spring afternoon -I arrived at the beautiful Hickory Hill Orchard – ready to capture the sweet love of Taylor and Leslie. What I didn’t know, is that I would leave this session not only with a bag full of film – but with amazing new friends and a heart that was filled to the rim with joy, happiness and love that it is hard to put into words. Taylor and I had been emailing and talking on the phone quite a bit leading up to this apple blossom engagement session – and when we finally met in person it felt as if we had known each other already for a long time. And Leslie – well – let’s just say he is as charming and kind as he looks in the above photos. So it took no more than 2 minutes until we were all hugging and laughing and having a great time together.
What made this session extra magical was the one-of-a-kind way we were greeted by Kate – the daughter of the Orchard owners – with a big smile, kind hug and open arms. Her and her family were so incredibly welcoming – and I am forever grateful to them for inviting us onto their beautiful Orchard and letting us capture these special moments for Taylor and Leslie – in midst their blooming apple trees.
